The hearing test process includes several key steps:

Initial Consultation

Pure-Tone Audiometry

Wear headphones and respond to a series of tones at different frequencies and volumes to determine the quietest sounds you can hear.

Speech Audiometry

Evaluate your ability to hear and understand speech in various conditions, including quiet and noisy environments

Tympanometry

Measure the movement of your eardrum in response to changes in air pressure to assess middle ear function

Results Review

We also provide home visits for customers who cannot come to the centre such as those with mobility issues due to health concerns. The sessions usually last for 45 minutes and are arranged based on appointments.

Types of Hearing Aids and Their Features

Behind the Ear (BTE)

BTE hearing aids are worn behind the ear and have a tube that transmits sound into a custom earpiece. They are suitable for most types of hearing loss and are often more powerful due to their larger size. Special features for BTE models include rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth connectivity, and digital processing.

Rechargeable ITC

The Rechargeable In-the-Canal (ITC) hearing aid offers a compact and convenient solution for those with mild to moderate hearing loss. Fitting partially in the ear canal, it is hidden from view while still being powerful enough to deliver clear sound. With built-in rechargeable batteries, this ITC model can be simply recharged overnight for a full day of use.

In the Canal (ITC)

ITC hearing aids are smaller than ITEs and fit partially in the ear canal, making them less visible. They are suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss but can be difficult to handle. ITC models often contain digital processing, with some limited options for Bluetooth connectivity.

Completely in the Canal (CIC)

CIC hearing aids are the smallest type, fitting entirely within the ear canal and making them nearly invisible. They are suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss. CIC models are known for their discreteness and typically feature digital processing.

Receiver in Canal (RIC)

RIC hearing aids place the speaker (receiver) in the ear canal while the rest of the device rests behind the ear, offering a more discreet option with high sound quality. They are suitable for various types of hearing loss. RIC models often include rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth connectivity, and digital processing.

Rechargeable RIC

The Rechargeable Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) hearing aid combines advanced technology with convenience. It features a hidden design where the speaker sits directly in the ear canal while the main device rests comfortably behind the ear. With built-in rechargeable batteries, this model offers a stress-free experience. The Rechargeable RIC provides high sound quality, long-lasting performance, and the ease of simply recharging overnight for all-day use.
